can i change my department from diploma to B.E? i completed my diploma in computer , but i would like to join Civil Engineering in B.E in anna university, tamil nadu .

vinaykumarneeradi 29th Jul, 2022

Hello aspirant,

hope you are doing good..!!

No. you cannot change your branch to Civil engineering after you have completed diploma in computer science.

students who studied in non cse branches like civil, mech, ece, etc.. can change their branch to computer science in B.E or B.tech.

but, the students of cse in diploma cannot change to other branches like civil, mechanical, etc.. they have only option to change to IT or into any other CSE specialization courses.

As a CSE student in diploma you will have great and more opportunities in software by continuing the same branch in B.E.

there are lot of opportunities for CSE students in software technologies as the technology is increasing day by day.

good luck

rajeevanand843 28th Jul, 2022

Dear aspirant

Amrita institute of medical sciences, kochi is deemed medical College and it's counseling in conducted by MCC under AIQ counseling for deemed/private medical colleges.

Neet 2021 cut off marks for Amrita institute of medical sciences in different rounds of AIQ counseling were

Round 1 - 431 marks

Round 2 - 407 marks

Mop up round - 489 marks

At your expected marks you hold very good chances to get in these college, so try to grab seat in first two rounds only otherwise cut off marks are always go higher in mop up round for every deemed college.

Now if we talk about other private medical colleges of Kerala then you have rare chances in those colleges as due to low tution fees there cut off marks goes higher than Amrita and cut off marks are nearly 535-540+ marks.

In Tamil Nadu, you have chances to get in deemed medical College only through aiq quota counseling, you may get following college in Tamil Nadu

Last year the NEET qualifying marks for 2021 were more than or equal to 138-720 for general category and 108-137 for OBC/SC/ST categories.

The Tamil Nadu NEET cut off significantly increased for the past three years because of change in Tamil Nadu board syllabus and less repeaters appearing for the NEET exam. NEET score Cut off increased every year around 60 to 80 marks for all reservation categories. During NEET 2022, the cut off is expected to decrease by 25 to 35 marks for most of the reservation categories.

The NEET score cut off depends on various factors such as

Difficulty level of NEET question paper compared to last year
Number of MBBS seat increase in TN medical colleges.
