St category 11000 jee home state karnataka which nit I get I need goa channi kerala tamil nadu or karnataka nit which I get plz answer

Anurag Khanna 7th Nov, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

On such ST rank you have no chances to get any of the NITs even after considering your home state because as per the last year data the closing ST rank was somewhere around 3-3.5k and you are very far from the figure.

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the official website of JOSAA as given below :-

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Now if you appeared for JEE-Advance 2021 then you must have got your result so to have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon JEE-Advance 2021 score you can use JEE-Advance College Predictor:-

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-advanced-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

JEE-Advance 2021 cut-offs are mentioned below :-

>>> Common rank list (CRL) - 10.0 (Minimum percentage of marks in each subject) - 35.0 (Minimum percentage of aggregate marks)

>>> GEN-EWS rank list - 9.0 - 31.5

>>> OBC-NCL rank list - 9.0 - 31.5

>>> SC rank list - 5.0 - 17.5

>>> ST rank list - 5.0 - 17.5

>>> CRL-PwD rank list - 5.0 - 17.5

>>> GEN-EWS-PwD rank list - 5.0 - 17.5

>>> OBC-NCL-PwD rank list - 5.0 - 17.5

>>> SC-PwD rank list - 5.0 - 17.5

>>> ST-PwD rank list - 5.0 - 17.5

>>> Preparatory course rank lists - 2.5 - 8.75

Now if you are not in the race of JEE-Advance then I would recommend you to either go for private colleges or you can prepare for further attempts of JEE-Main and to help you in your preparation we have some resources which you can access from the link given below :-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck for your future!!

Koyel Bagchi 27th Sep, 2021

Hello,

Basically Getting 96.5 percentile means you are ahead of 96.5 %students appeared for exam.

In that case best choices are as follows:-

  1. NIT, Tiruchirapalli.
  2. NIT, Warangal.
  3. NIT, Suratkal.
  4. MNNIT, Allahabad.
  5. NIT, Calicut.
  6. MNIT, Jaipur.
  7. MANIT, Bhopal.
  8. VNIT, Nagpur.

In this rank you can get less demanding branch in top 15 nits. But if you want better then better to study hard for next jeemains and jee advance you can do much better.

For more information about your chances then please go through the following college predictor link:-

I got 150 marks in jee main and am st category female my category rank is 11436 can I get admission in goa kerala tamil nadu surathkal which colleges I can expect

nilangemeghna 30th Sep, 2021

Hello aspirant,

If you're asking about the NITs in this rank then there are low chances to get a seat...

To get admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs, GFTI colleges, you need to register for JoSAA counseling.

For JoSAA your category rank will be considered. There are limited seats for a particular category in any branch.

In JoSAA counselling, first your category will be seen for your First preference or choice then it will be checked that if seat is available or not fir your category ,if seat is not available then your next preference will be checked.

You can try in special Rounds as CSAB counselling after JoSAA counselling are done...

You can predict colleges according to your JEE MAINS rank, category and state through the following link...

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=jee_cp

This college predictor tool will provide you all the needed information about the colleges of your preference...

Hope this helps

All the best for your Future !
