Tamil Nadu
Hey aspirant,
Based on your marks, it may be difficult to get an MBBS seat in Tamil Nadu under government quota, for which cutoff was above 440 marks for your category.
However, you may be able to get admission for a management seat. Based on last year's cutoff, you may get a management seat at colleges like Sri Muthukumaram Medical College, which had a cutoff of 326 marks, Madha Medical College in Chennai had a cutoff of 335 marks for management seat last year. This is subject to change.
To find out accurate chances of getting admission for MBBS based on your score and category, check out NEET College Predictor 2020:

Since you are interested in CS and IT I would recommend you to go for CS as top priority and then consider IT. Both these fields are in demand but the only difference between is that IT deals with application, maintenance, networking and database storage while CS focuses on writing programs for software as well as hardware. Top priority should be CS because you will be able to learn both software and hardware. Now BTech stands for Bachelor of Technology while BE stands for Bachelor of Engineering. BTech is more practical and hence it is more professional than BE which focuses on theory.

According to last some years cut offs sorry to say but your son has very less chances of getting admission into some higher branches such as CSE or IT but yes definitely he will get admission into some other core branches like civil, mech, electrical.
Also he has very high chances of getting admission into instrumentation or production engineering . You should also go through the cut offs for NIT Trichy whose link is given below it will clear your all doubts.

Hi Aspirant,
I understand that you have secured a rank of 20294 in the AEEE 2020 Engineering Entrance Examination for admission into Amrita University and so to answer your question, the closing rank for the Chemical Engineering branch at Amrita University, Bangalore for the year 2018 is around 25000 and for the year 2017 was 19678 and so as you can realise that the chances for your admission into the branch of Chemical Engineering at Amrita University is slim.
