Hey!
to become a lab technician you need to do certain courses after your class 12th. or even after your basic degree like BSc.
the courses are
Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT)
or a Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology (CMLT),
or a BMLT (Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology degree)
these courses are after 12th. for lab tech after BSc (any science) you can directly approach a lab and get a job.
lab technician is good. but i would say, your previous ambition was good. to become a cardio vascular technologist.
i hope it helps you
to become cardiovascular technologist, 1st you have to have a MBBS then do MD in Cardiology. or else you can directly take up cardiology diploma. then you need to practice for 1 or 2 years. later you have to take up license course in institution and get a certified license from government and there you are as a cardiovascular technologist.
