If you want to hold your seat in the first phase then you have to pay the fee (if any) and self report to the allotted college before the due date. Carry all your certificates and make sure you have at least 3 copies of each of them.Documents required are like
Report to the college as early as possible as the given time would be 1 or 2 days.

Answer to your question is simple. If you want to hold the seat allocated to you, then pay the fee and then apply for the next round.You can even apply for the next round without paying fee for the seat allocated in round 1.But the part difficult to digest is if you don't get a seat there,The effort of yours for getting a merit seat gets wasted.So all I can say you is make sure you don't lose your seat.

As you got seat allotment in this college based on your rank in first round of counselling and if you are interested in perusing B.Tech CSD for next 4 years and want to build your career on it, then you should confirm or accept your seat allotment .
For this course, CSD undoubtedly as per your rank this college is better . But if you want to persue B.Tech CSE (with or without any specialization) or you want to opt other engineering branch for your career , you should sit for second round of counselling .
