Which is best Ece from MSIT Delhi or textile engineering form Uptti kanpur?
dear student,
MSIT is a well reputed college in GGSIPU but their ECE department is not as strong as CS & IT department. So if you want a placement in ECE core companies then there is a possibility that you might not get that, instead of IT companies like HCL, Infosys, etc.
My recommendation is to go for MSIT for education & campus but not for placement in core electronics companies.
All the best !!!

What is difference between B. Tech textile engineering and B. Tech textile technology ?
About course – Textile engineering is a branch of engineering where the principles of scientific techniques are utilized for manufacturing and development of several varieties of fabric. The main aim of this program is to design and control all aspects of textiles, its raw materials and the finished product. There are many several processes of spinning and fabric-forming stages coupled with the complexities of the finishing and colouration processes to the production of wide ranges of products. A student learns to examine the different groups of fibers that include natural, manufactured, and synthetic fibers. Students also gain good knowledge of various textile fibers. A textile chemist manages the processes of cleaning, dyeing and hence delivering a finished material. These days, textile chemists also learn the art of blending materials.
Core subjects – The core subjects include the following:
Textile Fiber
Yarn Formation
Fabric Formation
Chemical processing of Textile
Textile Testing and instruments
Applied Mechanics
Statistics
Chemical Processing of Textiles Lab
Computer Application in Textiles
Design and Structure of Fabric
Instrumentation & Control
Information Technology in Textile
Values and Ethics in Profession
Textile Engineering
Textile Engineering is about designing and controlling all aspects of fiber, textile & apparel processes, products, and machinery. It includes research & development, manufacturing and merchandising. Textile Engineering combines the principles of engineering with specific knowledge of textile equipment and processes. This knowledge is then implemented for the processing and production of all kinds of textile fabric & yarns from textile fibres. Career paths in this domain include process engineering, R&D, production control, technical sales, quality control and corporate management.
Core Subjects of Textile Engineering
Textile Engineering is inclusive ofTextile Chemistry, Textile Engineering, Textile Production and Textile Technology. Have a look at the core subjects of Textile Engineering-
Textile Fibre | Yarn Formation |
Fabric Formation | Chemical Processing of Textiles |
Textile Testing & Instruments | Processing at Textile Lab |
Computer Applications in Textiles | Design & Structure of Fabric |
Information Technology in Textile | Design & Structure of Fabric |
Passed Hs wid phy, math, bio with 80% bt failed optional chemistry paper. Cleared wbjee. Can I take admission in textile engineering?
No you have to qualify all the subjects as they are the main subjects and all the colleges ask for at least 50% in each subject, this will create a problem. Hope for the best.
Thanks.
