Is it better to prepare from ncert books only if not what about h c verma ( physics) and r d sharma(maths) please tell honestly and please suggest a good time table for these books to prepare for jee mains remained attempts.

Abhishek Roy 11th Jun, 2021

JEE Main is more of a strategy than harkwork. Instead of starting a new Text now before the Exam, you must get accustomed with JEE Main Previous Years, correct your Test Taking strategy and consider a routined preparation for yourself. If youve not yet started HC Verma or RD Sharma, dont start it now, its too late for the remaining attempts. First, you must be thorough with your NCERT Books, followed by practising sample and previous years for JEE Main and analyzing the Detailed Solutions. Some of the other crucial materials, I believe you must refer before remaining JEE Main Attempts are

1. Physics, Chemistry Arihant Handbook

2. Allen Mathematics Handbook (PDF Available)

3. Resonance JEE Main Rank Booster (PCM)

Im currently in 12th grade CBSE. I have online classes from 8-12 and coaching from 5-8.30. Can anyone suggest me a good time table to manage JEE and Boards?

Arshiya 12th Jun, 2021
Hello Aspirant

First off all, being from the science stream myself I know how difficult it is to manage between the two things. Honestly I just focused on my boards. But you guys this time have a blessing in disguise, we used to think of excuses to not attend school and study for jee. Now you guys are at home 24/7 and god knows when schools will start functioning the same way as before.

Now, you study the same thing in school as well as in tuition, right? So do one thing properly, study well and listen with full attention in you school or tuition, cut the extra hours of school (my personal suggestion). Attend classes and do the things you need to do in school only and olny if its really really necessary. Otherwise study for your competition exam. And study for boards in your tuition time and do not neglect boards, not at all. The time left, utilize it in doing your homework or self study. If you attend both school and tuition, you'll also need some time to relax, honestly I don't think you can crack jee unless and until you've a really extraordinary mind.

Keep a day fixed in every 10 days and utilize that full day in doing the homework you feel necessary to do from school. And let me tell you, attendance didn't matter much when we actually went to school, it will not matter now, just complete the minimum required some how, it will be much easier for you to do it online ;)

All above mentioned are just suggestions from my personal experiences, maybe your plan is better than mine. Just find what works for you.

I have one year to study for jee exam (2022) and Im studying 12th how can I manage schedule for both exams please gime me some tips and time table for both exam

Sree Student Expert 21st May, 2021

Hello aspirant,

Yes you have enough time to prepare for JEE Mains 2022. You can manage easily between two exams because both exams have almost same concepts but one is descriptive exam and the other is object exam. First prepare the concepts and then practice and solve problems related to that topic then you can cover both the exams. Daily study for 8 to 10 hours. Divide time for both descriptive and Objective.

Preparation tips to get good score in JEE Mains.

  • Know the syllabus make a time table and study accordingly covering all the topics
  • Practice previous year's question papers.
  • Refer standard text books.
  • Make notes on your own.
  • Try to remember information and concepts in the form of flow charts. So that you can easy remember them.
  • Practice all concepts well and write Mock tests regularly
  • Allot more time for the concepts you are weak

You can get good score by using below given data.

ginnisachdeva02_9364270 Student Expert 15th May, 2021

Hi Aspirant!

As a PCMB student it is very hectic to give all the subjects equal time. I would suggest you to give your best and perform well in the board exams. You can start with the basics from the NCERT books and after completion you can start practising previous years exam papers to understand the pattern of exam. If you are preparing for any entrance exam like JEE or NEET, i would suggest you to study atleast 10-12 hours a day. The main thing is that you have to build your concentration level, then only you can stay focused on your goal. The subject which you find hard, give it more time to get your basics right and the subject in which you are good, practise it to become an expert.

Even if you are not able to give time to all the subjects in a day, try to cover the remaining ones in next day, but do not delay a lot. It will pile up all the syllabus which you would not be able to cover up later.

You can also read for detail and extra knowledge in the books whose names are given in the link given below

I am in class 12th CBSE PCM and I want to get selected in IIT JEE with a good rank but I wasted my class 11th very badly this year because of the pandemic so what should I do, which time table should I follow to get a good rank in iit jee as well as in CBSE Board Exams

Pankhuri Kumari 11th Apr, 2021
Hii!
The time table which needs to be followed depends on you and your convenience. In order to give equal importance to JEE mains and class 12th boards, you need to start with studying and clearing the basic concepts of physics, chemistry and mathematics of class 11th and 12th. First focus on class 12th and along side, keep solving previous year question papers. This will give you an idea of the way the questions are asked in the exam. So, whenever you come across those questions, it clicks in your mind that this is important and you should give focus on it.
Solve sample papers for class 12th board exams and dedication this time Fully on class 12th boards preparation.
