yes, EWS quota is applicable in TSEAMCET 2020 counselling procedure, but make sure you follow the following guidelines to be a part of EWS Quota:

• family income must be less than 8 lpa
• house must be under 1000 sqft
• must be owning less than 5 acres agricultural land

Also, do not forget to carry EWS certificate, it would be beneficial for you.

No for the academic year of 2020-20201 the EWS quota is not applicable. The 10 per cent reservation for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) in university admissions will only be applicable from the next academic year (2021-22). Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has not yet formulated the procedure to consider the EWS for admissions into universities in Telangana for higher education courses.

As when viewing insights of TS EAMCET 2020 Exam analysis, In Telangana, about 1,43,326 candidates have registered for the EAMCET 2020, out of which 1,19,183 candidates appeared for the exam. This year, the total attendance recorded was 83.19% which is less than last year because of COVID19.

Based on your rank and as per your category and  your ews category will be used during counselling so when you keep your colleges in counselling  then your category will be used to get admission in particular college and your ews rank will be reduced to 21k

According to the recent rules and regulations of admission and counselling process of TS EAMCET through sports quota, the following sports will be taken into consideration:-

Archery, Athletics, Badminton, Ball Badminton, Basketball, Boxing, Canoeing & Kayaking, Chess, Cricket, Cycling, Fencing, Football, Gymnastics, Handball, Hockey, Judo, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Roller Skating, Rowing, Sailing/Yatching, Shooting, Softball, Swimming, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Tennis, Volleyball, Weightlifting, Wrestling, Yoga.

These are the sports through which the sports quota in TS EAMCET will be allowed. But since you're a national level karate candidate, so I don't think through this, they will allow you for sports quota reservation, though you have a valuable certificate of your sport, it will not be taken into consideration.

If you didn't qualify in ts eamcet then you don't have chance to apply for ts eamcet counselling and the only options left for you will be either b-category or through management or nri quota

b-category means you can get admission through jee mains score and 30% of the seats will be reserved under b-category quota

management quota - this means you will have to pay a lot of amount for the seat that means you are buying the seat .for example if the seat is for 7 lakhs , then you will have to pay 7 lakhs for the seat along with the first year tuition fees .then the next three years of engineering you will have to pay only the tuition fees

nri quota - For NRI quota seats the fees is very high ie about 5000 dollars.

So please consult someone you know and then take a decision
