what should I do , take admission in EEE btech in Banasthali Vidyapith or CSE in UPES DEHRADUN or take a drop??? please tell...

Purbayan Chatterjee 10th Sep, 2021

Hi Khusi,

Hope you are doing well. See its entirely up to you what you want to do and let no one decide for you. However do keep in mind certain things while you decide.

  1. Both EEE and CSE has their own perks. Obviously if you take up CSE in any college and study hard, no one can stop you from cracking top-tier companies.
  2. If you like EEE, then you should always choose it because sooner or later it will help you bag better jobs.
  3. If you feel, you can do better if you take a drop this time and if you want to enjoy the tags of great colleges and be around some of the most hard working people (that will eventually contribute to your personal growth), then you might take an year drop.

Choose wisely and all the best.

Respected Sir/Mam, UPES(Dehradun) vs KIIT, which one should I choose for BTech(CSE).

SREYASHI SEN 12th Aug, 2021

Hey Raj,

Well to answer your question UPES Dehradun and Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology are both among India's top universities. Comparing these two academically is quiet difficult. The course is supported by prominent professors, the majority of whom hold a PhD. All of the amenities are in good working order.

However, when we look at the placement record in UPES, it is even more outstanding. This isn't to say that KIIT isn't worthwhile. The most common fields of study in KIIT are CSE and IT. More than a hundred firms hire KIIT CS engineers. However, in UPES, the percentage of students who are placed is higher. More than 90% of CS students get hired by prominent software organizations such as Amazon, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Deloitte, BYJU'S, LinkedIn and IBM, and other companies are among them. In UPES, the average placement is higher than in KIIT.

Hope this information helps.

Regards.
