UPES Dehradun aur Chandigarh University which is better for CSE
When you have to compare two colleges and have to arrive at a conclusion then you have to choose some of the parameters. This parameters can be a distinct number of events but to conclude this answer I am choosing some of the most important parameters like:
- Infrastructure
- Curriculum
- Faculties
- Placement
Now if you wish to compare between this two then I would recommend you to go for UPES over chandigarh university because:
- Both of them have very good infrastructure but the labs and facilities are better in UPES
- UPES have better faculty member having research experiences in various fields such as AI, Automation, Data management etc.
- UPES has better average placement package compared to that of CSE CU.
- The curriculum of UPES is more well organized compared to that of CU.
** I would recommend you to take decision only after conducting some research by yourself.

what percentage in boards is needed to get direct admission in CS in UPES, Dehradun
Hey there
UPES Dehradun offers bachelor of Technology course including Computer Science as a specialisation. Respected Sir/Mam, UPES(Dehradun) vs KIIT, which one should I choose for BTech(CSE).
Hey Raj,
Well to answer your question UPES Dehradun and Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology are both among India's top universities. Comparing these two academically is quiet difficult. The course is supported by prominent professors, the majority of whom hold a PhD. All of the amenities are in good working order.
However, when we look at the placement record in UPES, it is even more outstanding. This isn't to say that KIIT isn't worthwhile. The most common fields of study in KIIT are CSE and IT. More than a hundred firms hire KIIT CS engineers. However, in UPES, the percentage of students who are placed is higher. More than 90% of CS students get hired by prominent software organizations such as Amazon, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Deloitte, BYJU'S, LinkedIn and IBM, and other companies are among them. In UPES, the average placement is higher than in KIIT.
Hope this information helps.
Regards.

Good evening to all Amity Law School, Noida; UPES, Dehradun; Llyod law college, Noida; Indore Institute of Law,Indore and ICFAI Law School,Indore. Which one is best for BA LLB(Hons.) and BA LLB.
Hi Mayank,
As per your query, I would suggest you go with Amity Law school, Noida. The reason for choosing it over the other colleges/institutes you have mentioned depends on upon some factors like:
- Placements.
- Academics
- Social Life
- Opportunities
- Exposure
See, in Amity Law School, Noida has been a wonderful place to start your college life with. There will be a mole of opportunities with good exposure to the pursuing students.
The infrasture of the college is superb comprises all the facilities an individual can dream of. Amity also has a wonderful library that is maintained according to the International level. The issue with this college is the Attendance. The attendance criteria is very strict in this college.
Academics are also very good. The syllabus and the pattern is according to what a student needs in future purposes. Sometimes, there are several advocates who are teaching the students. So this is the beat thing a college can provide.
However, the fees will be high for some students. On an average the fees for one semester is around 1.25-1.30 Lakhs which is very costly. Placwmets are average according to the fees for the whole course.
I hope this answer helps you.
Good luck.

i got 60 percentile in jee mains. should I take a drop or take admission in UPES dehradun for BTech cse???? please tell me l am very confused.
Dear candidate, there are two cases here. If you have already done preparation of JEE Main once and you know everything about how JEE Main preparation is done, its syllabus, if you are confident you can study those same things regularly on a daily basis for 7-10 hours, sacrifice your distractions then you should definitely go for a drop. Ask yourself, can you score better and clear NIT cutoffs of JEE Main, then you should go for a drop.
On the other hand, if you have never prepared for JEE Main, then you should give 7-10 days time on the topics asked in JEE Main and check if you can study for a stretch of 8-10 hours and if you dream about, you can sacrifice distractions, then definitely go for drop.
If you do not want to drop, then please join UPES Dehradun. At last, everything depends on the student how he/she is performing, studying in college. Colleges only provide you a platform.
