Sree Student Expert 30th Jul, 2022

Dear aspirant,

As you have not mentioned your Caste Category, I'm considering it as General Category and providing information based on it.

You has chances of getting below mentioned Colleges in Uttar Pradesh, based on previous year's cut-offs.

But cut-off changes from year to year and depends on many factors like

1. Number of seats available.

2. Difficulty level of the exam.

4. Caste Category of the students.

You have chances of getting below mentioned Colleges for your NEET UG score, based on previous year's cut-offs.

--Eras Lucknow Medical College and Hospital, Lucknow

--Heritage Institute of Medical Sciences, Varanasi

--Hind Institute of Medical Sciences, Barabanki

--Subharti Medical College, Meerut

i got 93.5 percentile in jee mains, Im general, female, up resident. What good private or govt colleges can I apply to for cse?

aashi singh 22nd Feb, 2025

Hey Saumya!

Let me start by congratulating you for your wonderful performance in JEE Mains. However, considering the past trends, you may find getting into a top-tier government college extremely difficult even with this percentile. Although you may get admission to various low-ranking government colleges and NITs, the experience is not the same.

Now, since you are open to enrolling in good private institutes, you may consider Geeta University as a great choice. Here is why.

  • The university is known for offering new-age B.Tech. programs with specializations in fields of AIML, Cyber Security, Data Sciences, & FSWD.
  • The university has a dedicated technical training cell, which provides in-demand skill certifications and training programs to boost your competence.
  • Much stress is laid on practical learning through live projects and technical challenges to make the students capable of solving real-world problems.
  • You get exceptional placement training and support and the strong industrial tie-ups of the university open the doors to great internship opportunities.

Hope this information proves helpful in making the right choice and securing your future!

can I get govt. mbbs seat with 543 marks in neet 2022 from up box category

Anurag Khanna 29th Jul, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

Can you please re-define your category?

See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the cut-offs keep on changing every year but yes we can provide you the list of colleges that you can get based on previous years cut-off data.

So according to the data, on such marks you have almost no chances for any of the government medical colleges through state quota counselling because in 2020 the closing cut-offs for them were above 600 marks for General candidates but you have good chances of getting some private medical colleges in UP under state quota according to previous year's cut-off.

As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that you have chances in following colleges :-

Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Medical Sciences, Bareilly

School of Medical Sciences and Research, Greater Noida

Rohilkhand Medical College and Hospital, Bareilly

Subharti Medical College, Meerut

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

NEET 2022 Cutoff UP - Uttar Pradesh NEET MBBS/ BDS Cutoffs (careers360.com)

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your expected marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor because it will make you comfortable while choice filling in counselling :-

Hi, my daughet named Ananya is interested to take up IAS exam in future as she is just in her 6th standard. Can i get some help on how to prepare her from now so that she cracks her exam well in future.

Narayani 2nd Sep, 2022

Hey!

My advice to you would be that as of now your daughter Ananya is too young to even be thinking about the preparation.

There’s still almost about 10 years before she will even be eligible to appear for the exam.

There however is a small tip that i have learnt over the years which is that the most important study source for UPSC CSE are NCERTs.

Although she doesn’t have to study it with that perspective but if one keeps their basics of the ncert clear there preparation becomes a thousand times easier.

But right now is truly the sparking age of her childhood. Let her blossom and come to a point where she is ready to take on all these responsibilities.

All the best for your future pursuits!

Feel free to ask more questions and queries.

Hii everyone !! Im BTECH CSE first year student and Now I want to droup out from CSe to take up BA HONS LIBERAL ARTS. Will this be a good decision to go for civil services ?

pdwords Student Expert 30th Jul, 2022

Hello,

As per the eligibility criteria laid out for UPSC, candidates need to have passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university, those in the final year of the graduation too are eligible to apply, there is no specific aggregate required in this case,

now coming to your question, see qualifying UPSC isn't only about your choice of stream or subject in graduation, yes people belonging to humanities have an added advantage as there is considerable overlap with their graduation syllabus to that of general studies and optional subjects syllabus,

but if you have a look at this year or even previous year toppers they come from as diverse backgrounds as that of medical, engineering, science, commerce etc as well apart from humanities or arts graduate, it's all about strategies, focus, dedication much more than anything else, if you had already taken admission then there has been monetarily investment which you have to lose if you drop out, I would advise you not to do the same, you should analyze why you opted for computer science engineering in the first place, if it was your choice then what's causing problem now, is it you're not finding it interesting, or facing any issued in study, if so talk to your faculty for the same, try to delve deep in this matter before proceeding some where else, rest is your choice, evaluate everything and then only take decision.

how many percentile in jee mains to get admission in government in up

Tanya Gupta 1st Aug, 2022

Hey Student,

If you're from General category, you need at least 85 percentile to be on the safe side, that is 90+ marks overall. If you're from SC/ST category, you don't need to worry much as 60-70 percentile will work well for you to get a seat in any government college.

All the best student,

Hope this helps you.

I have secured 605 marks in NEET 2022. I am from UP. My father is Ex-servicemen. Caste- OBC Whether I am in a safe to get college or not? If yes. Then which college can I get?

Karishma Sawhney 26th Jul, 2022

Hello aspirant,

It is difficult to predict the college you can get it as cut off varies every year depending on various factors such as the number of students attempting the paper, category of the student and difficulty level of the exam.

However, if we look at the previous year cut off, the candidate belonging to OBC category and a ward of an Ex-serviceman, scored 606 marks.

The college allotted to the candidate was Government Medical College, Siddharth Nagar. Looking at your score, you have good chance of getting into this college.

Another candidate of OBC category and a ward of an Ex-serviceman scoring 597 marks got allotted ASMC, Deoria.
