hello sir.. In the first round counselling of up neet a student having 606 marks and 16990 AIR got a mbbs govt seat .Is there any chance to get a govt mbbs seat with rank 18367 and 603 marks in second round?

Anurag Khanna 6th Dec, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

Since you have not mentioned your category so considering it as general.

So on such marks and category you have good chances of getting some government medical colleges in UP under state quota in further rounds according to previous year's cut-off. As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that you can get following colleges :-

  • Sarojini Naidu Medical College, Agra
  • Maharani Laxmibai Medical College, Jhansi
  • Baba Raghavdas Medical College, Gorakhpur

And some more. You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-up

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor because it will make you comfortable while choice filling in counselling :-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

I am successfully admitted in gmc budaun this year after up neet ug counselling... But after admission there is no update from the college regarding classes and other activities I am stressed about it pls help me out.does I need to report at college?

darshita 2nd Dec, 2020

Hello,

As you are stressed from all this admission process finally its a relief right.

So take some time off .

As admission process of various courses are taking place simultaneously there is so much workload.

Teachers as well as other faculty are busy so whole process completion will take time .

As neet councelling is still going on so wait until its over.

So worry not classes will start soon of all the colleges that too online.

You can call or contact your college personally and know all the details .

As the pandemic is still in rise things will settle down soon .

Relax and don't worry.

in up neet counselling for document verification all the docs will be returned on the submitted day or if submitted when I can get it back

DrTeeth 28th Nov, 2020

Once you are allotted a college, you have to submit all the original documents during counselling. These documents are then forwarded to the respective institution for further verification.

The further processes depend on the policies of individual institutions. Most universities will keep your original documents for a period of three years, after which they are returned.

Do we have to register again for UP neet counselling round 2 if we were not alloted any seat in round 1...?

mjaisinghani62 24th Nov, 2020

Hello aspirant

No you have to register only once for ug neet counselling . If you are not alloted seat in first round, you will automatically shifted to second round counselling. Even if you get seat in first round and you are not satisfied with alloted college  , you can reject that seat and can participate in second round counselling.

You are free to exit from AIQ  counselling and can participate in state counselling.

In up neet ug counseling 2020 i got admission in privet medical college and i paid all fees.but securirity fee ₹ 200000 will not be adjusted. How can I get my security money back ?

ojaswiyolo Student Expert 29th Dec, 2020

Hello

To inform you- MCC/DGHS has no role in the counselling process in private medical seats and it is the state counselling bodies which are responsible for admission in private medical colleges.

According to the rules the security money is supposed to be refunded to the institutionwhere you have got admission and it  is supposed to be adjusted in your first year fees.

If you have got admission via NEET AIQ in a private university your security money will be adjusted in the fees, you cannot get your security money back after taking admission. If the institute has said they will not adjust the fees (without giving a logical reason for it) then I suggest you to consult your state's counselling committee (CEE for Kerela at  0471- 2332120, 2338487. or mail at [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]) )

how much money is returned from college alloted in first counselling in up neet counselling if I get allotment in second round upgradation.

iammohdshareef 19th Nov, 2020
If you have paid whole fees then mostly many of the college's don't return fee's and will have a demand to only join in their college.

Few of the college's will return whole paid amount by submitting a written letter describing why you are going to other college.

So, visit the college with a letter or parents mostly they will either return whole amount or they will return 70% of fees

What is the process of admission after seat upgradation in up neet counselling?

S. Saha Student Expert 19th Nov, 2020
Based on your filled choices and your merit in the examination, the authority will conduct the seat allotment process. If you are allotted any seat and you wish to join that Medical college, you need to report to that college which has been allotted to you before the last date of admission. You'll have to carry all the documents and seat allotment letter for furthur verification. There you'll have to submit the admission fee. I was unable to fill counseling form for up NEET for first round, can I register myself in round 2 ?

ananthita 14th Nov, 2020

Hello,

Online registration is necessary for candidates to take part in the counselling procedure. After online registration you have to fill in choice of subjects and Institutions/colleges in order of preference. Once choice is filled in, it can be modified before locking it .If you don’t register and fill in any choice, you will not be allotted any seat. Registered candidates who did not get any seat allotment in the 1st round can go for 2nd round of allotment.

Hope this helps you.
