i am getting 475 in neet 2021 in sc category in uttar pradesh can i get a govt. mbbs seat

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 18th Sep, 2021

Hi

It's quite difficult to predict because cut off  depends upon various factors like

------------) number of students that appeared in the neet exam,

------------) kind of marks obtained by them ,

------------)  toughness level of the neet examination

------------)  number of seats available etc

When we go through previous data then

With 475 marks,

You hold  a good chance in a Government Medical College

For example,

in neet  2020, 457 marks for sc  category got mbbs seat in Govt. Medical College   under UP  state quota and it was for Autonomous State Medical College and Associated Teaching Hospital, Bahraich

You can check the same at

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-up/amp

You also  have chances in following government medical college for mbbs under UP state quota for mbbs :-

----------) Autonomous State Medical College, Basti

----------)Government Allopathic Medical College, Banda

----------) Autonomous State Medical College, Ayodhya

And a few more

Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but  cutoff keeps changing every year depending upon many factors as mentioned earlier, so to have a clear picture of the colleges in which you have chances and

to get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

my jee main rank is 456711 and i a. a general category student from Uttar pradesh . please suggest me good college at this rank gfti or private?

Dhruv Agarwal 18th Sep, 2021

Hey Aspirant,

As you may know nowadays competition is quiet tough in engineering especially when you are from general category  . Now at the rank of 456711 you will not be able to get any gfti even in Uttar Pradesh. But you might be able to get admission in some private institute. But there also you might not get CSE or IT based on your JEE main Rank.

Please check out link given below to predict your college

I hope this helps!!

I got 53000 rank and 8000 ews rank . My home state is Uttar pradesh. Which college should I opt for??

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 18th Sep, 2021

Hi

Making  prediction is difficult as  cutoff  depends upon various factors like :-

-----------) number of students/ candidates  that appeared in the  jee main exam,

-----------) number of available seats,

-----------) performance of different students in the examination,

-----------) the branch you want,

-----------) the category you belong etc.

-----------) your rank in jee main

But yes,

When we go through previous year trend then

>>>>>>>>>  With  8000 ews rank

You have chances in following  which are listed below along with their closing rank in 6th round of josaa counselling 2020 under other state/ all india quota   :-

--------) NIT Nagaland :- Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering  :- 8007 EWS rank

---------) NIT Raipur :- biotechnology :- 8096 ews rank

---------) National Institute of Technology Agartala:- production engineering :- 8629 ews rank

---------) National Institute of Foundry & Forge Technology, Hatia, Ranchi:- Metallurgy and Materials Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology):- 10946 ews rank

And more

So, you can opt above colleges

You can check the closing ranks  at official website of josaa by going through the link given below

Or

For previous year cut offs of top colleges like NITs, IIITs , you can also refer our page at :-

NITs :- https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/nits-cutoff-for-top-btech-branches

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 17th Sep, 2021

Hi

It's quite difficult to predict because cutoff keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like :-

******number of students that appeared in the  jee main exam,

****** number of available seats,

****** performance of different students in the examination,

****** the category you belong etc.

But yes,

When we go through previous year trend then

>>>>> With 32470 ews rank

It is quite difficult to make prediction but yes

You have low chance in nit Allahabad, UP

For example,

In 6th round of josaa counselling 2020, under  home state closing rank was 8321 ews   rank  in NIT Allahabad and it was biotechnology for gender female.

You can check the same at

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

But yes,

You have chances in some of  government colleges which are listed below along with the link for their previous year cutoff :-

-------) Indira Gandhi Engineering College, Sagar :- https://dqxeclau.top/colleges/indira-gandhi-engineering-college-sagar/cut-off

-------) Vikram University, Ujjain :- https://dqxeclau.top/university/vikram-university-ujjain/cut-off

-------) Institute of People's Science and Technology, Chitrakoot :- https://dqxeclau.top/colleges/institute-of-peoples-science-and-technology-chitrakoot/cut-off

This prediction is on the past year data basis but  cut closing rank for colleges changes every year depending upon factors like number of candidates that write jee main examination, difficulty level of the question paper for different shifts of jee main etc so
