one of my friend got 538 marks in neet 2021...can he get a mbbs seats in government college in west bengal?

monstwerdash 16th Nov, 2021

Hey there,

Hope you are doing well . See it's difficult to tell you the exact cut-offs this year and we can only get to know it after the counselling results are announced. But we can predict your probability of getting selected into a college depending on last year's cutoff .

You mentioned your state to be West Bengal.Last year in West Bengal the cut-off marks were 568 and closing AIR was 36907. This year too the cut-off is expected ti be somewhat similar to last year's so it seems difficult for you to get selected in a government MBBS college .But you can go for private or management quota seats and also for other courses like BDS and Ayush .For detailed information regarding the same you can visit the link given below :

My ews rank is 39600 home state west Bengal. Will I get nit agartala bsms chemistry or biotechnology in CSAB spot rounds counseling?

Aman Mishra 15th Nov, 2021

Hello,

The NIT Agartala is one of the reputed and finest NIT in India with very great academic records hence, the competition for this college is also quite high which automatically increases the cutoffs but you should definitely try even though chances are less of getting admission but with this you should keep other options to be choosen instead of this so that at the end you will be having a good college in your hand.

Thank you..

my all india rank is 75465 can i get chance in kishanganj medical college through management quota

Anurag Khanna 15th Nov, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

Since you have not mentioned your home state so considering it as West Bengal according to your profile and category as general.

It is quite difficult to make any accurate prediction of your admission chances in any particular college because the cut-off keeps on changing every year depending upon various factors such as :-

*** number of candidates appeared in NEET 2021

*** difficulty level of the paper

*** top score for NEET 2021

*** total number of seats available for admission and so on.

But we can help you on the basis of previous years cut-offs, by analyzing data of previous years we can guide you upto some sort of your admission chances in Mata Gujari Memorial Medical College, Kishanganj .

So if we go through previous years cut-offs then according to that, you have very less chances of getting Mata Gujari Memorial Medical College, Kishanganj  on such marks and category . Because as we go through previous years cut-off data then it shows that the closing rank was around 60-65k for Mata Gujari Memorial Medical College, Kishanganj  under state quota for General category.

Sayali 14th Nov, 2021
Hello Sufi...

Hope you are doing well. As you got 200 marks in NEET you are qualified and are eligible to take part in counselling process. As per 2019 data in MM category 104431 Rank holder got a seat in MBBS in Nimra college. 200 marks are not sufficient to get a MBBS seat. All India Quota Cut off is much more high that State one.

All the Best.

Can anyone provide me West Bengal BAMS cut off in government college in 2020( previous year)

piyush263001 14th Nov, 2021

Hello,

NEET 2021 results have been declared by the National Testing Agency NTA.

To predict whether you will definitely get a seat in a college is an uphill task as cut-offs for colleges change every depending upon several factors such as-

• Number of applicants in NEET exam

• NEET question paper difficulty level

• Score of the candidates in NEET 2021 result

• MBBS/BDS/BAMS seat matrix 2021

NEET 2021 Cut-off goes like :-

• General /EWS- 50th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC - 40th percentile

• General-PwD - 45th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC-PwD - 40th percentile

Marks wise cut off is as following-

• General - 720-138

• OBC/SC/ST - 137-108

• Gen PwD - 137-122

• (OBC /SC / ST ) PwD - 121-108

Though it was expected that due to higher difficulty level of examination cut-off for colleges will decrease, but it turns out students have performed exceptionally well and the cut offs have increased compared to last year.

See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the counselling is yet to be conducted and the cut-offs keep on changing every year.

The previous year data closing rank for various categories for  BAMS for college in West Bengal is as following-

JB Roy state Ayurved medical college and hospital -

• UR- 55, 827

• OBC A- 60,782

• OBC B - 62,858

• EWS - 68,854

• SC- 1,91,856

• ST - 5,51,746

I have got rank 48853 in neet ug 2021 . with 546 marks in UP under UR I have 2 queries 1. can i get mbbs if I go for AIQ counselling in west Bengal assam and other eastern states 2. if I wont get mbbs then can I do bds and then prepare for neet ug. will it be problematic for me to leave bds seat

pdwords Student Expert 14th Nov, 2021

Hello,

If we go by last year AIQ cut-offs for UR then it has been above 611 marks, hence with 546 the chances to secure GMC and more so with UR category is quite tough, though you may have chances for government dental college through AIQ in ESIC Dental College, Gulbarga other than this for rest of the colleges chances are tough as cut-offs are on higher side, you can check out the same by visiting our page at https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cut-off-for-government-colleges,

even through state quota the chances for GMC is tough, as last year under 85%  state quota 610 marks secured seat in Autonomous Medical College, Bahraich though there are possibilities for government dental colleges as follows-

  • Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Medical Sciences, Bareilly-491 marks
  • School of Medical Sciences and Research, Greater Noida-448 marks
  • Hind Institute of Medical Sciences, Barabanki-404 marks
  • Subharti Medical College, Meerut-416 marks
  • Muzaffarnagar Medical College, Muzaffarnagar-385 marks
  • Rohilkhand Medical College and Hospital, Bareilly-388 marks
  • Saraswathi Institute of Medical Sciences, Hapur-377 marks
  • Heritage Institute of Medical Sciences, Varanasi-354 marks
  • Rama Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Kanpur-347 marks
  • Hind Institute of Medical Sciences, Sitapur-325 marks
  • KD Medical College Hospital and Research Center, Mathura-308 marks
  • Rama Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Hapur-307 marks
  • Mayo Institute of Medical Sciences, Barabanki-305 marks

However, this is completely based on previous year data, cut-offs are subjected to alter every year based on various factors such as

  • total number of candidates appearing for the exam
  • difficulty level of the paper
  • top NEET scores
  • reservation
  • seat matrix, etc..
