Sumedha Bhattacharya 17th Oct, 2021

Dear Student ,

As per your JEE MAINS rank , and being a west bengal candidate .. with HS quota , you can get NIT durgapur and IIEST Shibpur with the following branches respectively abased on previous year cut off :

  • Mechanical engg (NIT Durgapur, IIEST Shibpur)
  • Metallurgical Engg(IIEST Shibpur)

You have also chances to get NIT Jalandhar , Hamirpur and others with individual branches  .. check the previous year cut off details of top NITs from here :

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-top-nits

But , this prediction may not be accurate as each and every year the cut off details changes due to some unavoidable factors like :

  • Seat matrix
  • Difficulty level of questions
  • No of students appeared etc.

You can use this JEE MAIN college predictor tool for your reference and get a personalized report of your eligibility of chances to get colleges with preferred branches  :

Hello,

To predict whether you will definitely get a seat in a college is an uphill task as cut-offs for colleges change every depending upon several factors such as-

• Number of applicants in NEET exam

• NEET question paper difficulty level

• Score of the candidates in NEET 2021 result

• MBBS/BDS seat matrix 2021

NEET 2021 Cut-off goes like :-

• General - 50th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC - 40th percentile

• General-PwD - 45th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC-PwD - 40th percentile

As you have mentioned in your query that you belong to SC category and have scored 441 marks, then I would like to suggest you few colleges that you might get admission into based on cut-off in the year 2020-

i am scoring 451 in neet 2021 & i am in obc-a (ncl)category what are the chances to get a govt medical college in West Bengal?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 17th Oct, 2021

Hi

It's quite difficult to predict because cut off keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But when we go through previous data then it suggests that,

>>>>>>  with 451marks  ,

you hold low chance to get mbbs seat in a Government Medical College

For example,

In Neet 2020, the lowest marks that got a seat in Government Medical College under west Bengal state quota for obc was 566 marks and it was for COOCHBEHAR GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL

You can check the same at

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-west-bengal

You have  chances in deemed universities for mbbs which are listed below along with their neet 2020 , 2nd round cut off :-

----------) SBKS Med. Inst. and Res. Centre, Sumandeep  Vadodara:- 446 marks

----------) Yenepoya Manglaore:-436 marks

----------) Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhubaneswar:- 426 marks

----------) B.L.D.E University, Bijapur:- 387 marks

----------) MGM Medical College, Navi Mumbai:- 380 marks

And a few more

To get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

Can I get a govt BAMS college with 410 marks in neet (UR) through AIQ or SQ (West Bengal)

Kuheli Sanyal 17th Oct, 2021

Hey,

Nothing fixed can be said until NEET 2021 results come out. Cut offs and ranks are subject to change every year depending on the difficulty level of the paper, the performance of the students and the number of seats available.

Having said that, based on previous year data with 410 marks you can get a rank between 190149-201809. You can also predict your rank using NEET Rank Predictor https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-rank-predictor

Last year the cut off for state quota government ayurvedic seats in West Bengal was a rank of 49544. In 2020, this rank corresponded to marks between 567-558. While in 2019, this rank corresponded to marks between 507-497. So based on these, it is quite difficult for you to get a government ayurvedic seat in West Bengal.

The cut off rank for government ayurvedic college through all India quota AYUSH counselling was around 40000 last year. So it is quite difficult for you to get a government BAMS seat, but you can surely get a management quota seat in private BAMS college through AIQ AYUSH Counselling.
