You do not have to worry at all. WBJEE has the provision of automatically locking the the seats, even if the candidate forgets the lock them after the date expires.

However, there is one catch in this. The choices that you last kept shall be considered as your final sequence of choices and the priority of colleges shall be from the first college name that you have given in your choice list.

If you have filled the choices according to your preference, then need not to worry.

However, if you have not, then you may not get the desired branch or college of the choice.

One more important thing, there shall be no more rounds of WBJEE counselling as there are only three.

JU is an autonomous university and follows its own course syllabus.So in case you are leaving iem which is under makaut ,after a certain period of time your registrations gets automatically cancelled since you left the college and the college has stopped sending registration amount nedded at time of each semester.So in that case your applications get automatically cancelled.However if you join a college under makaut next year then you have to cancel registration from your college placement officer and inform him about the transfer and he may arrange a migration or transfer certificate officially from makaut.You have to reach out to the college administration and inform about the change to cancel registration.

If you have not applied for any college by paying the fee, then your money will get refunded under the wbjee refund policy. You need to inform them by contacting authorities or by refund application:

If you have taken admission in any of the college , then you need to check the refund policy of that college. Also, the refund process might take upto 2 weeks.

• General category candidates should have scored an aggregate of 45% in the three compulsory subjects in 10+2th (or equivalent) examination.

• Reserved category candidates should have secured an aggregate of 40% marks.
• Should have also qualified English with minimum 30% marks.

Candidates should have been born on or before December 31, 2003 to be eligible for all the courses offered through WBJEE 2021. The age limit for WBJEE for all the courses is defined below.

• The lower age limit is 17 years as on December 31, 2021.
• There is no upper age limit to apply for WBJEE 2021.
• But for admission to Marine Engineering Course, the upper age limit is 25 years.

So, if you fulfill the age limit and criteria then you can apply for the examination.

The  WBJEE 2021  exam  form will  be  released from  2nd week of Oct-2020  to  1st week of Nov-2020 in offline mode.

The  application  correction window  will  be open  from  2nd week of Nov-2020  to  3rd week of Nov-2020.

The  WBJEE 2021  exam  will  be conducted on 2nd February  2021

First of all I am explaining you in short the rule of choice  filling of WBJEE .During choice filling you can put any no of choices there and sort them according to your favourable interests . In every round you will be allotted only one department of one college . According to your sorted choice list the top most available choice with vacant seats will be given to you . If you are happy with that then you lock that and get admission . Otherwise you upgrade. If any of the preceding choice's  seat  becomes vacant then you will get than otherwise you get the allotted seat given to you from the previous round. That's how it works. So choice filling and seat allotment is very vital.

So if you have already selected upgradation then you can't take admission now . Because if you get a new allotted seat then the allotted seat of the previous round will of be no use .

Admission can be done if you confirm the allotted seat given to you and don't upgrade further . Then you go to your respective institution with all the documents and get admitted.

So the seat allotment letter and admission receipt are not same. You can get provisional seat allottment letter after each round of counselling but you will get admission receipt after you ger admission in a particular college.
