These are WBJEE counselling rounds going on.After completion of all rounds of wbjee counselling through wbjee exams there will be only one round of counselling through JEE main marks.So the dates will be finalized by the board further as still wbjee counselling is going now. So in order to know the dates you need to get yourself regularly updated about the same from wbjee official website.

Now,coming to the registration process . When the registration form portal will get available online on official website you need to register yourself there and also you are required to pay a fee of Rs 500/- for the same.As this year there will be an e-counselling so you just need to keep yourself ready with all the documents required and get your counselling done on time.

Yes you can easily use your JEE MAIN rank and score in WBJEE counselling . Meny colleges and universities in West Bengal which participate in WBJEE counselling aslo take part in JEE MAIN counselling too( Example Jadavpur University) .

When you start WBJEE counselling in WBJEEB official website then at first you have to choose by which entrance exam's rank you want to do the counselling and choice filling .  There are 3 options total.  You can start counselling by WBJEE rank or JEE MAIN rank , even by both rank simultaneously . By choosing the third option that is "both JEE MAIN and WBJEE rank " you can get every available options of both the entrances in choice filling procedure. You can sort and mix them according to your preference .

By this way you can use your JEE MAIN rank in WBJEE counselling.

CSE and IT are two of the most preferred branches with excellent placements, faculty and research facilities at Jadavpur University. I believe in spite of having West Bengal Domicile or not, you will requite atleast an AIR of 200 for securing a confirm seat in either of the two branches. For an AIR of 200-250, the Total Marks of WBJEE Exam being 200, and seeing current trends of tougher question papers, you require and should target atleast 150-175 / 200.

I am afraid to inform you that with your rank your chances of getting government colleges thorough WBJEE is almost impossible. If your category was SC or ST then might be chances your you.

The complete procedure of counselling of WBJEE 2020 will be online. As information is provided by the WBJEE, online registrations would be done followed by choice filling, also online seat allotment and document verification too would be done in online mode.  After choice locking and seat allotment is done, you can get your allotment letter online and candidate have to pay seat fee in online or offline mode.
