    I had got FIEM,Sonarpur in my WBJEE 2020 counselling for the first time in first round.Then I choose accept and upgrade and got IT in St.Thomas in incycle counselling in first round.Now can I remove a college from my choise filling?

    Hope you are doing good!! I am afraid to tell you that but you can not change now the locked choice of the college. But you can refill you choice after 1st round of allotment by using the option float in WBJEE. You have to inform the allotted college, then you will be provided by three options. By using float you can go for the second round.

    The only option you are left with is to withdraw from the councelling and your fees should get refunded within 60 days after the councelling gets over.

    If you have admitted and paid college fee in another college first you should cancel that admission and then join in your preferred college . I you don't want the paid fee you can directly join in college . Or else you can apply for college transfer so that your paid fee will be transferred to preferred college.

    You can arrange your choice of colleges in two designs that is college wise or Branch wise. What I'm trying to say is that you can arrange your choices like this- You can put the colleges name keeping a particular branch constant or else you can change the branches keeping the college constant. It is always advisable that the top ranked colleges are to be put above the average and less ranked colleges. Now suppose your total number of choices are 50. Now after first round of counselling you have been allotted to choice number 40. If you go for Upgradation, there are two possibilities available-
    • You'll be allotted to any of the colleges above 40 if there are availability of seats.
    Or else,
    • You'll be allotted to the same i.e. 40.
    You'll never get the colleges which are under choice number 40. Cause you have passed their criteria, and you have been allotted to a certain level. Now it's not guaranteed that you'll definitely get a college above 40. You'll only get that college if there's availability of seats. Hope you have understood.

    I would like to tell you that TFW means tuition fee waiver, it means candidates who are categorized in TFW during counselling they have to pay only fee other than tuition fee and there entire tuition fee is exempted. However there is a condition that only general candidates whose parents annual income is less than 2 lacks or something are eligible. So if a candidate got TFW seat in any round of counselling then he/she will be called for physical verification of documents, remember there is no specific document for TFW other than annual income certificate of parents.Result of counselling states where and at what date and time candidates has to present to show all documents to claim his seats.

    what is incycle upgradation in wbjee? what are the things we have to do in incycle upgradation?

    Hello aspirant,
    In WB jee counselling after declaration of 1st counselling result you are asked to choose 3 options i.e freeze,slide ,float this is incycle upgradation and after that for next round you have to fill or update choice again.
    Freeze means you lock alloted college with that given branch.
    Slide means you locked alloted college but want to upgrade branch if possible in next round.
    Float means you want to upgrade college and branches .
    So choose your choice very carefully and update your choice in next round if necessary.

    when the reporting centre will be held in wbjee????

    Hi Dulha,

    Due to COVID-19  their is no Physical reporting so all the process will be done through online.

    So Reporting in Wbjee has already started for 1st round from 31st August and closed on 6th September. But there is the time for 2nd round  reporting, 2nd round reporting is started from 24th September to 30th September.

    Hello aspirant!!

    After paying your seat allotment fees and freezing your respective seat you need to download the allotment letter and the admission letter.

    After collecting all these keep your documents in handy whenever your respective allotted college asks you to show those documents if they allow ti come to college as this year no candidate is required to go to reporting centres due to pandemic.
