hello aspirant,

yes, it happens in most of the counselling exams that if a candidate forgets to lock the choices, the choices automatically gets locked on the last date for that particular date of counselling round.

however, if your counselling date has passed, you can check the site to know the current situation of your counselling.

it will give you an exact and accurate idea of what has happened to your slot.

can I got mechanical brunch in JU¿my wbjee gmr rank is 687in general

Hi there,

No you can't get mechanical engineering branch at Ju under 687 general rank, your rank must have been under 400 for that branch, although you can get other branches at Ju which are good for placement, don't go after branch to any other college as JU is one the finest colleges better than many IITS hemce just get in to JU in any branch you can change it after first year.

Congratulations for your result. However you haven't mentioned the category you belong to so considered you as a general category candidate, and based on your rank, it might be difficult to get Haldia Institute of Technology for Bachelor of Pharmacy as the closing rank is quite higher. Other reputed Pharmacy colleges such as BCDA college of Pharmacy and Technology closes within 30000 rank, while Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology closes within 22000 rank. You can go for Brainware University. Going by last year's cutoffs, the closing rank for general category candidate was around 55000, so you have fair chances of getting B.Pharma in Brainware University. You can also expect JIS University, as last year closing rank was around 50000, so if this year the cutoff changes, you may get seat there. Now all these are based on previous few years' cutoffs and this year it might change.

Can I refill and relock my choices after 1st round of seat allotment in wbjee?

hello aspirant,

some of the universities provide this facility but not WBJEE.

For the three rounds Choice filling is allowed only once before the 1st round of counselling. No fresh choice submission or alteration of existing choices is allowed in 2nd and 3rd round of counselling.

Hope you are doing well
First of all it is mandatory to lock choices when taking any competitive exam if this is not being done your answers will be blank and knowledge and information you are having will be irrelevant
So locking choices is mandatory
It implies for all the examinations all over India including WBJEE
You didn't locked your choices so that was bound to happen and their are no alternatives to this
So now take some practice tests and from next time onwards do not repeat this
As the proverb says :- failures are the steps towards success so keep learning keep growing

In 1st counsilling of wbjee i got a collage which was in my 1st choice but i want to go to that collage which was my 2nd choice what can i do?

In WB jee counselling you got 1st choice of your list of given colleges given for counselling and you Want to take admission in 2nd choice.
As in counselling you can not get the college's which are below the allotted college.so in further round also you will not get the college's below your alloted colleges in your given prefrence.
You have to take admission in that college's only.

Hello aspirant

If you get better college then you will get refund of fees . Registration fees will not be returned .

The fees also you will get after your seat is alloted to someone else. You won't get back immediately. The procedure of refund will take time , it may get one month till then you will have to arrange fees for other college in which you are getting addimission

You may get COOCHBEHAR GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING COLLEGE, PURULIA GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING COLLEGE. There is low chances of getting KGEC and JGEC and no chance for JU. hi,

see up gradation means it would go for check to higher priority given choices. if you wish for up gradation the choices of colleges you have given on the list of counselling, which is listed before the present allocating seat , would search among them. now as per your rank if it matches with the higher choices you have given , then you would allocate a new seat, unless you would remain in the previous allocated seat.
