Counselling process of WBJEEB is always done on the basis of GMR. TWF rank is allocated to those who have very lower income and is only entitled to exempt them from payin fee. There are certain seats in the college wherein they get admission by paying very fewer amount of fee.

Now Your GMR is 1598. Based on this rank you would only be getting Construction engineering in Jadavpur University unless/until you belong to some reserved category.

Yes you have listen the correct news that it is compulsory to have home state for getting government college in wbjee 2020 as it is applicable from last year.

You can't able to get admission in the government college of Bengal if you are out sider means from different states. But all the private college takes both candidate from Bengal as well as from different states.

really clearly speaking....sorry but you are not the domicile of west bengal as you have mentoned so you can't even fill up the government college which is most prestigious in your list of counsiling  and as far seat is concerned most of government college almost take 95% to 100% student from home state,so according to your rank you can't find even a little better government college for you so also go with pvt college .

fee in college you get through wbjee won't be much high and will have better facility.

when it comes to choosing the branch i will suggest you to go with your own choice because for the next 4 year you should enjoy your learning not it should feel you like burden over your head.

even though if you really look at the placement the cse is off course4 right now a best branch,and than information and technology and than electronics and communication

WBJEE result have been released and you have got SC category rank of 2392.

First of all I would like to say that there is no spot counselling in WBJEE. WBJEE counselling takes place in three rounds. Only when seats remain vacant after three rounds of Counselling then the college itself organises this sort of admission process.

In Jadavpur University the closing rank of CSE for ST category was 1734 and you have secured 2392 . Therefore you cannot get CSE in first three rounds of Counselling.
