If you are absent from 2nd session then your 1st attempt i.e. January session score/percentile will be considered and rank list will be prepared based on it then it will be processed further for counselling process.

there won't be any issue regarding it. it would be better if you clear your doubt from the NTA help desk if you want clarity.

I wrote jee Jan and I didnt apply for jee sept if my jee janpercentile is eligible for writing jee Adv will the consider

S. Saha Student Expert 18th Aug, 2020
Each candidate has the chance to appear for Jee Main two times for three consecutive years which means one can sit for Jee Main for maximum 6 times. And it's not mandatory to sit for both the sessions of Jee Main in a year. If one appears for both the sessions, the best of two scores is considered for admission and Jee advanced. Now you have appeared for Jee Main January session 2020 and if you meet the qualifying cutoff for Jee Advanced which will be released after the conduction of Jee Main September Session, you'll be eligible to write Jee Advanced. Even in this year, your 12th marks will not be considered. You just have to show your passing certificate and if you meet the qualifying cutoff and other criteria, you'll be eligible for Jee Advanced. Last year the qualifying cutoff was-
Common Rank List - 89.7548849
General-EWS - 78.2174869
OBC NCL - 74.3166557
Scheduled Caste - 54.0128155
Scheduled Tribe - 44.3345172

is it true that we get spects if we read under the shadow of our own hand while writing?

Deepshikha Student Expert 16th Aug, 2020
Hey,
When we read in low light,it leads to eye strain and over time our eyes may become weak leading to decline in the eyesight. That is why it is always advisable to have sufficient light while reading. Also, the shadow of hands will not really affect your vision as long as you are comfortable and getting enough light. However,You should try to sit in a right posture and maintain sufficient distance from your books while reading. Apart from that,it is always good to see an oculist if you feel discomfort in eyes.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
