Hello,
Can you please let me know you're reservation and state so that i can help you out with the marks and rank needed to get admission.
Thankyou.
This is totally your decision. If you think that taking a drop this year will land you in a better position than now, surely go for it. But if you doubt that you will not be able to get in a better position than this even after one year, I would suggest that do not go for it. These days college really matters a little. Yes IITs and NITs do, but only to an extent. Prepare as much as you can for upcoming JEE. Good luck! Choose wisely!

Hello student. Rank is a good one and in addition there is a reservation too. So there are chances that you might get veternary seat in the college. Since every year competetion increases, we cannot surely tell about the seat. If state quota exists, then your chances might improve. I suggest you to apply to other colleges to be on safer side.
Hello student. Biotechnology is an emerging branch and apart from that with the increasing competition it is becoming a bit difficult to get the desired branch. You rank is a little high, So there are lesser chances for you to get biotechnology seats. You have not specified any category or quota. Specifying them will improve the chances of fetching a seat. Kindly refer the link for more information

To be honest you may not qualify JEE Main with 30th percentile unless you belong to pwd category. As you have not mentioned your category it is difficult to answer. But if you belong to general or reserved category you will qualify JEE Main. A safe score is 85 percentile or above to have good chances of qualifying JEE Main. You cannot expect a seat with the percentile that you scored. If you are appearing in JEE Main September session you should perform well and try to score minimum 85 percentile to get seat in a college.
