• If you want to do a job early or want to learn technical skills, then Polytechnic is better. It gives you a diploma in engineering or other fields and you can get a job after 3 years.

• If you want to go for higher studies like B.Tech, MBBS, or other degrees, then doing Intermediate (12th) is better.

So, choose based on what you want to do after 10th.

No, direct admission is not possible in BHU for Class 6. Admission is given through an e-lottery system , not by entrance exam or direct method.

• To apply, the student must have passed Class 5 and should be between 10 to 12 years of age as on 31st March of the admission year.
• BHU runs this system for Central Hindu Boys’ and Girls’ Schools. You need to fill the application form online during the given dates.
• After that, selection is done through e-lottery. If selected, further admission steps like document verification are done.
