If you are in the SC category, with 58 percentile in MHT CET, you have a decent chance of converting admission to AIDS (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science) at PCCOE (Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering) or other same tier institutes in Pune.

• The cutoffs for SC categories are not so strict.

The TS ( TG ) POLYCET 2025 Phase 1 seat allotment was officially released on July 4 , 2025 and candidates can now check their allotment status on the counselling portal by logging in with their hall ticket number , password , DOB , and ROC form number . EEE through NMAMIT has a sturdy base in core engineering, and offers entry points in both the government and private industries but competition for placements can be tougher.
• Sahyadri (CSE in AIML): Sahyadri offers an upcoming and in-demand specialization/stream, which means placement opportunities are increasing broadly, especially in tech industries. Sahyadri College is also becoming well known; yet, it is a much newer engineering college than NMAMIT, so it does not have legacy status established.

• LPU Jalandhar: Modern campus with national diversity, they boast good placements in CSE/IT, moderate ECE, and not as core focused. Fees are heavier than your other options and Jalandhar is also more distance from Tamil Nadu.
• Rajalakshmi Engineering College (REC) : Good name in Tamil Nadu as a part of Anna University. More geared to ECE core learning with affordable fees, better placement at the local level, and less distance.  Probably represents a more stable option for you if you are likely to be TNEA based and expect a long-term outcome.

If you value core ECE, want to be in Tamil Nadu, then Rajalakshmi Engineering College is a solid options. If however, you have an interest in attending a private university with more academics that are flexible and prepared to relocate: SRM Ramapuram is also an option.

Based on your born date of December 20th, 2006 for both NID DAT 2026 and UCEED 2026; you will be eligible.
