Hi Anita!
Thanks for your question. Yes, you can apply for the ANM course at AMCH if you fulfill the eligibility criteria. Generally, the ANM course is a 2-year diploma designed for female candidates who want to work in rural healthcare and nursing.The basic eligibility is 10+2 (Arts or Science) stream with at least 45–50% marks. You should also be physically fit and preferably aged between 17 and 35 years.
As for the fee structure, it is quite affordable in government colleges. At AMCH or similar state-run colleges, the ANM fee ranges between 10,000 to 25,000 per year, depending on the facilities. Additional charges for hostel, uniform, and books may apply. Once you complete the course, you can work as an ANM nurse in primary health centers (PHCs), hospitals, or apply for government jobs through state exams.
You can check this link below for more details about AMCH here ;

Wishing you all the best!
Hello,
"AMCH" could be a few colleges.
If you mean Assam Medical College (AMC), Dibrugarh , yes, they offer ANM . The fees are usually very low for government colleges, possibly just a few hundred rupees per year.
If you mean Annapoorana Medical College, Salem or Adesh Medical College, Kurukshetra , they mostly offer MBBS/MD/B.Sc. Nursing. They don't clearly list ANM courses.
Best advice: Check the exact college's official website you're interested in for the most accurate and current ANM course availability and fees.
Hi,
With a NEET score of 218, your chances of getting admission into BHMS depend on several key factors like your category General/OBC/SC/ST , your home state, and whether you’re aiming for a government or private college.Typically, government BHMS colleges have cut-offs above 300 marks, so it might be challenging there. But you can explore private colleges, especially under management quota or for reserved category candidates, often accept lower scores. So yes, you still have a decent chance, especially through state AYUSH counseling. Be sure to participate in your state’s counseling process.

Yes Bhavika, with 218 marks in NEET 2025, you can get BHMS seat in private colleges or through state quota in some states with lower cutoffs. Chances in govt colleges are low, but try counselling rounds — sometimes seats remain in mop-up.
Hello!
With 218 marks in NEET 2025 it is very difficult for you to get admission in BHMS as a general category student but if you belong to SC,ST,OBC or EWS then you can try in less competitive states or last rounds of counselling.
You have chances of getting admission into private BHMS colleges. They generally have lower cutt offs so you can try.
