Each year, Delhi University (DU) receives more than 3 lakh applications for admission in different courses offered by its colleges. Many students who apply for DU admissions do not belong to Delhi and thus apply for hostel accommodation. But the point to note here is that around 17 DU colleges only offer boarding facilities on-campus. Apart from that, the varsity offers around 19 off-campus hostels.
Usually, the annual fees of hostels differs between 50k-70k. The fees also depends upon the college. They provide good rooms, food and security.

Hostel facility is provided by many DU colleges to their students and it is not that everyone gets a hostel facility as the number of seats are limited.
