Well yeah!! they will definetly ask question for that , so it should be better to remove the surname from aadhar ,you can do it easily. 

 . I would suggest you to make correction before the conselling , I have  faced that , 

they will not gonna to accept that!

Dear Shekhar, there will be no issue at all. A surname is an ancestral name that is used by every person in that household. Some add it on to their name while some don't. So that should not be a problem. As long as the individual is you and you have a proof of Identity that you are known by both the names, you are good to go. Don't panic and focus on the next step.
