rating provides an overall idea of where an institution stands vis--vis its peers. Since we have given a very high percentage of weightage to cut- offs, institutions rated AAA and above would mean that entry into them is not easy for those with less than 80 percentile cut-off. This has resulted in a small number of colleges making the cut into the high tables just by the cut-offs they attract, with little or no research or publications. But as a student-driven magazine our focus is on helping you decide better.

thanks :)

Colleges are Assigned grades based on so many factors and not just marks required for admission.

So you may have to get different marks for different colleges having same grade.
