As per the latest guidelines of Uttar Pradesh NEET counselling, if a candidate discontinues a BDS seat after admission, they will be debarred from participating in the admission process for the subsequent academic session within the state. This policy applies to both government and private medical and dental colleges in Uttar Pradesh.
However, this debarment is specific to Uttar Pradesh and does not automatically extend to all-India counselling or counselling processes in other states. Each state and the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) governing all-India counselling have their own policies regarding seat leaving and associated penalties.

Therefore, while you may be debarred from Uttar Pradesh's counselling for the next academic year, you may still be eligible to participate in all-India counselling and counselling processes of other states, subject to their respective rules and regulations.
