So Admission to IIITs and NITs will be based on the basis of Rank you have obtained in JEE MAIN 2019 which is dependent on your Percentile which is dependent on your Marks.

So its all inter related.

Also, as of now, NO OFFICIAL CUTOFF HAS BEEN DECLARED YET BY THE NTA and so we cannot give you exact info on that. But still, as per Careers360, the cutoff for JEE MAIN 2019 would go at around 85 percentile. So if you have percentile above 85, thdnost probably you have Qualified JEE MAIN 2019.

Counselling for Jee mains will be on the basis of rank of candidates.Merit list or Rank list will be prepared on the basis of best percentile scored from 2phases of jee mains examination.Total 2.20 lakhs aspirants qualify for advance each year.In you comes under this rank ,then of course you will be elligible for advance exam.In your results your rank and best percentile will be appear.NTA will declares rank after 2nd phase of jee mains examination.And your best percentile from 2 phases examination will be considered as for rank.
