India is a growing growing economy and every sector has it own demand. So both the streams are going to provide you equal opportunities.
But, here we are talking about your future, like how it will be after 6-7 years from now. So the stream you should choose is the one that excites you and takes you to study more. After all, what kind of job you will get, a one with high package or the one with bit lower one, completely depends on how you perform in consecutive years of your engineering.
