Hello,
ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering) is definitely one of the best options for the future because it offers a wide range of career paths.
It combines both hardware and software skills, so you can work in core electronics fields, telecommunications, embedded systems, or even shift toward IT and data-related roles.
With the rise of AI, IoT, robotics, and automation, ECE graduates are in demand across industries. However, its scope also depends on your interest and how you build your skills during college those who stay updated with new technologies and practical experience usually have strong career growth.
Thank you
All the best

Since your rank is 143035 in JEE Main and you are a general category student from Haryana looking for Computer Science and Engineering with good placement records, here’s a simpler view:
With this rank, getting into top NITs or IIITs for CSE is unlikely, as CSE is highly competitive. But you still have options in decent private and state universities with good placements, mostly in North India but not limited to it.
Some options to consider:
NIT Kurukshetra (if state quota helps, you may get other branches rather than CSE), Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology, Noida, Amity University Noida or Greater Noida (CSE has good placement), Sharda University Greater Noida, Manav Rachna University Faridabad, and MRIU Faridabad. These colleges have reasonable placement records and industry connections.
Your focus should be on colleges that are known for high placement percentage and median packages rather than just prestige.
The yearly fees for Computer Engineering at Mahatma Gandhi Mission’s Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College, Aurangabad are around 1,50,000 to 1,70,000 rupees. So, for three years, the total fees will be about 4,50,000 to 5,10,000 rupees. Hostel fees are separate and depend on the type of room and facilities you choose.

 Hello,

One of the good reasons why Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) is still a good option for the future is if you are keen on technology, innovation, and problem-solving. In fact, ECE gives you a combination of electronics, communication systems, and computer science that allows you to be involved in several areas, such as IT, telecom, robotics, embedded systems, and chip design, besides AI and data science, through self-study.
The most wonderful thing about ECE is its adaptability. You are capable of moving to software-related positions, such as coding, or remaining in core electronics departments. The likes of Intel, Qualcomm, TCS, Infosys, ISRO, and DRDO are some of the companies that employ ECE graduates. The scenario will be such that ECE engineers will be required in large numbers in the next few years with the coming of 5G, IoT, semiconductor growth, and automation. Don't forget practical skill training, such as Programming (Python, C/C++), Circuit Design, and Communication Tech, should be your priority as they are your career boosters. Hence, ECE is one of the fields that holds a strong and stable future.
 Hi there,

A majority of universities will consider your academic record, assessment scores of English proficiency such as IELTS or TOEFL, (and sometimes SAT scores). Besides this, you will need a strong statement of purpose, a couple of recommendation letters, and your transcripts. The countries like Canada, the UK, Australia, and Germany are very attractive to chemical engineering students. The University of Toronto, Monash University, the University of Manchester, RWTH Aachen, or the University of British Columbia are some of the great options you can choose, as they all have good research and lab facilities.
If you want to stay in India, you can file a lateral entry (direct 2nd year admission) application in top colleges such as BITS Pilani, VIT Vellore, SRM University, or Manipal Institute of Technology. These institutes are the ones that allow diploma holders to join B.Tech programs by conducting entrance exams or merit-based admission.
 Hope it helps!!!!

 Thank you.
