After April session what is the minimum percentile for general category and ews category plzz explainn

Hi Mukul, after the April session as the number of candidates who appeared for JEE mains has increased the expected cut off will be around 77-79 percentile according to various coaching institutes and experts. The expected cutoff may increase slightly but not much. The ews category includes the candidates of general category who lie in the economically weaker sections, so the cutoff of ews category will not be released separately instead it will be included in the genral category cutoff only, but surely you will get some benefit if you belong to the ews category. Even if you belong to ews category you will need a rank among the top 40000 students to get a NIT.

Aap 77 bol rhi ar aap jo link di h usme 85 prcntil ko eligible nhi bta rhe h ye kaise

77-79 is to qualify for JEE advanced. Its not that if you score 77 you will get a good college. With 85 percentile you won't be eligible to get any NIT.
