Hi Aspirant,
There are different government department under ministry of agriculture and farm forestry. Vacant seats of vacancies are filled timely by these department through entrance examinations.
Here are the list of government jobs in the field of agriculture:

(a). Academic
  • Assistant Professor.
  • Scientist.
(b). Krishi Vigyan Kendra
  • SMS (Sub. Matter Specialist).
(c). Deptt. of Agriculture
  • RAEO or Rural Agriculture Extension Officer.
  • SADO or Senior Agriculture Development Officer.
  • ADA or Assistant Director of Agriculture
(d). Department of Horticulture
  • RHEO or Rural Horticulture Extension Officer.
  • SHDO or Senior Horticulture Development Officer.
  • ADH or Assistant Director of Horticulture.
(e) Banking
  • AO or AFO or Agriculture Field Officer (Central government job).

These government jobs in agriculture are common in all Indian states.

Hello Nischitha

All the bank exams have set a basic criteria to fill the forms is graduation irrespective of pass or hons and irrespective of marks. There are couple of bank exams that are organised each year.


SBI PO (Probationary Officers) SBI Clerk (This year onward every year. source economic times)

IBPS RRB PO and RRB Clerk

IBPS PO and IBPS Clerk and IBPS Specialist Officers( for mba,btech,mca,bca all technical streams provided bachelor degree)

Other than these exams RBI comes out with grade B and Clerk but it has a demarcation of graduation marks 60% for grade B (gen category) and 55% for clerk (gen category). BOB clerk, Canara Bank Po (60% in graduation.

Hello aspirant,

See there are number of govt jobs where you can try. Because the basic thing they need is Graduation degree.

Once you have graduation degree you can apply for competitive exams like SSC, CGL, Banking PO, etc.

You can try for all such competitive civil exams if you have your graduation degree.
