If you are interested in physics i.e., fields like QCD , QED , STRING THEORY and Experimental physics go for MSc physics and specialize in the subject of your interest. You should be very much precise about your targets and area of interest. If you don't have any proper experience in Astrophysics and if you have gone through just speeches and didn't have any experiences in the subject matter then you should go for physics and if you are highly specified about your area of specialization then you should go for abridged courses i.e., like astrophysics.

You can also go for IPhD in institutes like TIFR , IISC etc.

Have a great eve!
