JOSAA counselling rounds have started and it deals with Seat distribution and Seat Allotment into the top colleges present in India.

Whenever a candidate gets a seat in the Counselling Rounds, he gets an option to either Slide/ Float/ Freeze his alloted seat.

Freeze option confirms your seat and you donot need to go for further Rounds. Slide and float options are meant for those who want to better their chances for a better seat, but it solely depends upon the availability of vacant seats, and if no further seat is alloted then the previous alloted seat only remains with the student, through which he can take admission.
