The basis eligiblity criteria for appearing in JEE mains paper 2 is that a candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board with a minimum 50% aggregate with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry as major subjects.
If you are appearing in paper 1 then you can surely appear in paper 2.
