Hi there, sorry to say but it's not possible for you to become an officer through AFCAT flying exam. Yes, you can appear for AFCAT exam but you can't be given any opportunity further as it's their guidelines.

AFCAT exam is being divided into various categories:

(a) Flying Branch : Fighter pilots, Transport pilots, Helicopter pilots
(b) Technical Branch : Mechanical, Electronics and other engineering streams
(c) Ground Duty Branch : Administration, Accounts, Logistics, Education, Meteorology

But here is something for you, for which you can apply.
Medical students are eligible to apply for:
Administration and Logistics - Graduate in any discipline with 60% marks in aggregate or post-graduate in any discipline with 50% marks in aggregate
Education- PostGraduate degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate

Hope this helps.

Hello,

AFCAT is Air Force Common Admission Test and students can enter in the air force by it. The eligibility criteria for AFCAT Flying Branch, as set by AFCAT is that the minimum age must be between 20 to 24 years and there is relaxation of 2 years for candidates holding a current and valid Pilot License issued by DGCA (India). You can  get admission by special entry through NCC and AFCAT special entry.

Hope it helps.
