Usually both 2nd pu pcm marks and cet marks are considered for kcet ranking .But,this year ,as the 2nd pu exam was cancelled ,only cet marks were considered for declaring ranks
If the total marks were same then first preference was given to maths cet marks next physics and then chemistry
If students got same marks in every subject then preference was given to age difference .Elder one was given first preference

I will reappear in the CBSE board exam in the upcoming 2026 exam in February as a private candidate to increase my PCM aggregate, as KCET gives 50% weightage to PCM aggregate, and I will also give the KCET exam. So, to calculate rank, do they use the board marksheet from 2025 or 2026? Also for each subject will best out of two marks accross both the marksheets be considered? #kcet
