To clear IMU CET, follow the steps:

First know the exam pattern and syllabus.
Prepare a study plan.
Practice mock tests and also solve previous year papers.
Read Current affairs for general knowledge.
Revise important formulas, concepts regularly.
Manage time properly while studying and in the exam.

Make sure that your primary study material would be NCERT for mathematics, physics & chemistry and go for RS Aggarwal books for reasoning and aptitude.

Last date of. CET option entry in month of October

Hello

CET option entry is part of the counselling process after the results.
Each state (like MHT-CET, KCET) has different schedules.
Option entry in October only happens if later rounds are held.
The official CET website gives the exact last date.
For example, MHT-CET sometimes has Round 2 or 3 in October.
To give the exact date, please let me know which CET and state you mean. You can ask by specifying the state.

It’s tough but not impossible for you to get a seat in a top-tier Bengaluru engineering college under 1.5 lakh with a KCET rank of 70k–85k.

But you might not get branches like CSE or ECE in the top private colleges, but you can still find options with less popular branches such as Civil, Mechanical, or Biotechnology.

what is the cet rank of cse for sc students

Hello Student,

For SC students, the CET cutoff for Computer Science (CSE) is different in each state and college. It also changes every year depending on how tough the exam is and how many seats are available.

In KCET 2025 (Karnataka), the last ranks for CSE are around:

RV College: 4100–4200
MS Ramaiah: 10400–10700
PES University: 18800–19200
BIT: 30800–31200
BNM: 70000–71000
VTU Belgaum: 110000–115000

So, minimum marks for SC is around 42%.

To get admission in Thakur College (TIMSCDR) through MCA-CET, the cutoff for the All India category in 2025 was around 96.39 percentile. Since you were born in Bihar but did your SSC and HSC in Mumbai, you'll likely fall under the All India quota. So, to stay on the safer side, you should aim for at least 95–97 percentile or higher. You have a decent chance of getting admission in some mid-tier IPU colleges. Top ones like Maharaja Surajmal, Maharaja Agrasen, and Vivekananda might be tough, but you can still get good options like Rukmini Devi Institute of Advanced Studies, Delhi Institute of Rural Development, and Ideal Institute of Management. You can also try for Tecnia Institute or Trinity Institute in later rounds; cutoffs drop a bit after the first round, so keep checking the updates.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the college is great. The labs and classrooms are well equipped with smmartboards and other needed equipments. We have a main canteen and a separate mess facility available. Our playgrounds are also well maintained and we also have separate courts for football, basketball and other sports.

It is a perfect place for every aspiring engineer

The infrastructure is top notch with well equipped labs and smart classrooms. The college has a main mess and a canteen. The sports facilities include an indoor court, gym and also courts for volleyball, basketball, football etc.
