With a percentile of 64.38, your approximate rank is around 60,000. While top-tier colleges like VJTI, SPIT, and KJ Somaiya are out of reach, you still have a chance in several mid-tier autonomous colleges in the Mumbai and Navi Mumbai region through later CAP rounds.
Colleges like VESIT (Chembur) and Shah & Anchor (SAKEC) are autonomous and occasionally have vacancies in the Electronics or Electronics & Telecommunication branches during later rounds, though their general cutoff usually stays within the top 15,000. On the other hand, Pillai College of Engineering (Panvel) and SIES GST (Nerul) have slightly more flexible cutoffs and are known to accept students with ranks closer to yours, especially in the Electronics-related branches.
Hello reader,
If the last date of submitting your documents in college is near and you have still not received your migration and school leaving certificate, then
I hope this helps you.
Best of luck for your future.
Hello,
Based on your 81 percentile in MH CET Law 2025 (3-year LLB) , General category (Female), you have good chances of getting a seat in the following Pune colleges as per past year trends:
Rani Putalabai Women’s Law College, Bhosari, Pune – Last year cut-off was around 83 percentile. You have a good chance here.
Sinhgad Law College, Pune – Previous cut-offs were between 65 to 75 percentile. Your score is well above, so chances are very good.
Colleges where chances are low due to higher cut-offs:
ILS Law College, Pune – Cut-off was above 97 percentile.
DES Navalmal Firodia Law College – Cut-off above 94 percentile.
DY Patil Law College, Pune – Cut-off around 88 percentile.
Shankarrao Chavan Law College – Cut-off around 90 percentile.
You should keep top colleges in your preference list, but also include colleges where your chances are higher like Rani Putalabai and Sinhgad Law College to be on the safer side.
Hope it helps !
With 95.10 percentile in the MAH CET 2025 for BBA/BMS and being a non-local (Outside Maharashtra State – OMS candidate), you have a competitive score, but admission to top Mumbai colleges under the All India quota can still be challenging due to limited seats and high cutoffs.
For BMS or BAF, your percentile places you in a strong position for mid-tier to upper-mid-tier colleges. Admission to top institutes like NM College, Mithibai, Jai Hind, and HR College is highly competitive, especially for the All India category, where cutoffs often exceed 96–98 percentile. While you’re close, these colleges may still be difficult to get in the initial rounds.
You should actively consider applying to colleges like:
Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Management
SIES College of Arts, Science & Commerce
Wilson College
Sydenham College (for BAF specifically)
Thakur College of Science and Commerce
These institutions have a solid academic reputation and are more accessible at your percentile. Since you passed Class 12 in 2024, you’re eligible for this year’s CAP rounds. Make sure you complete the centralized admission process (CAP) on the official portal and select colleges in order of preference. Track the institute-wise and category-wise cutoffs regularly.
Hello,
The AAU CET merit list has been released on 17th July 2025. You can check it by visiting the official AAU website (aau.ac.in).
Hope it helps !
With 83 percentile in MHT CET PCM and OBC category, getting top colleges like VJTI, SPIT, DJ Sanghvi, or COEP is not possible for Computer Engineering, as they usually close above 95–99 percentile.
You have better chances in mid to lower-tier colleges in Mumbai and nearby areas. Some colleges where you might get Computer Engineering include:
– Universal College of Engineering, Palghar
– Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Institute of Technology, Panvel
– Shah and Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College, Chembur (in later rounds)
– St. John College of Engineering, Palghar
– Aldel Education Trust's St. John Technical Campus, Palghar
These colleges usually have OBC closing percentiles ranging from 75 to 85 or even lower in the later CAP rounds.
Admission to the BCA program at IMRD Shirpur (Institute of Management Research and Development, Shirpur) through the MAH BCA CET does not have an officially published cutoff each year. Based on past admission trends, candidates who score between 60 and 80 out of 100 on the MAH BCA CET generally have a reasonable chance of securing a seat, particularly if they belong to the Maharashtra State Open or Home University categories.
IMRD Shirpur is affiliated with North Maharashtra University, so candidates from the home university may receive preference during admissions. Your admission prospects will also depend on your category (General/SC/ST/OBC) and the availability of seats in the respective round.
It is important to monitor the official CAP (Centralized Admission Process) rounds and regularly check the CET Cell Maharashtra website for the most current cutoffs and admission updates, as these can vary from year to year.
Additionally, if your score falls slightly below the typical range, admission may still be possible in later CAP rounds or through the institute-level quota.
