Hello!

The Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) is a competitive exam for admission into courses like B.Sc. Nautical Science, B.Tech. Marine Engineering, and others. Since you’re planning for 2026, you have plenty of time to prepare systematically. Start by understanding the syllabus—it typically includes Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, and General Knowledge for UG courses. For model papers, you can refer to IMU’s official website, previous years’ papers, and guidebooks available online. Practice is key: solve at least one model paper a week and analyze your mistakes. As you get closer to the exam date, increase the frequency to one paper every two days. This will improve both your speed and accuracy.

Check here for more information: https://dqxeclau.top/exams/imu-cet

Thank you, and I hope you ace the exam!

According to the information regarding TS Edcet  Phase 2 counselling 2025, the specific dates are still not declared.
You can keep checking the official website edcetadm.tgche.ac.in regularly for updates.

Hi!

It’s great that you’re exploring different options. Just to clarify, MHT CET is mainly conducted for admissions into engineering, pharmacy, and agriculture courses, whereas BBA admissions usually happen through separate entrance exams or direct merit-based selection depending on the college. If you gave the MHT CET for BBA, it might not be valid for admission in most colleges because BBA programs usually don’t require MHT CET scores. Instead, colleges may have their own entrance tests, like SET, or they accept marks from 12th boards directly for BBA admissions. So, if you want to pursue BBA, it’s better to check the specific college’s admission criteria carefully or consider appearing for the relevant entrance exam for management courses.

Hope this clears your doubt! Thank you and best wishes!

Hello,

In most counselling systems like IPU CET, once you participate in a spot round and are allotted a new seat, the previous seat is usually forfeited. This means if you’ve been given a seat in Maharaja Agrasen Institute in spot round, your earlier seat in JIMS may not be retained unless the rules specifically allow a “freeze” option before participating in the spot round. You should immediately check the official counselling brochure or contact the IPU admission helpdesk to see if there’s a provision to decline the new allotment and keep your old one. Keep in mind that spot rounds are generally for vacant seats and are considered final. Always confirm in writing before making any move to avoid losing both seats.

Hope this helps, and thanks for asking

Hope this answer helps! Thank You!!!

In case, You have already uploaded your caste validity receipt prior to the CET CAP round and you have now received your original cast validity certificate, then you must show follow- up your documents to the CET portal (e.g.. MHT CET in case you are in Maharashtra) as soon as possible.

This is what you have to do:

log in to your CET candidate portal
Navigate to the swabing the Edit/Update Document Upload tab
Send your own sharable caste validity certificate instead of the receipt
Send and send to the changes

Provided the option to upload is locked, one can visit the nearest Setu Centre or Facilitation Centre (FC) and ask them to update your document.

Besides, the final certificate and the receipt should be kept at hand at the time of verification of documents during counseling.

Do not forget to bring the update to the last list of merit or allotment so that you are not disqualified.
