Hello,

Specific cutoff scores for the Bachelor of Business Administration program at S K Somaiya College, Mumbai , for the year January 2025, are not found in the public domain. In general, a candidate should have completed his/her 10+2 education with an aggregate percentage of 55% and above to seek admission to the BBA program.

Even though the college has not published cutoff scores for the BBA programme, the admission process is rigorous and might use academic performance as well as entrance exam scores among other criteria. For the most updated and comprehensive information about admission criteria and cutoff scores, one may check the official website of S K Somaiya College or reach out to the admissions office.

This will help you avail of the latest information on admission requirements and gauge your eligibility for the BBA program.

Hello,

Yes, several colleges offer direct admission for the MBA course irrespective of CET results. Admission for such colleges generally depends on a particular college. Several private and deemed-to-be universities have open policies in case of an MBA course where no CET is usually required, although entrance exams CAT, MAT, XAT, or GMAT can be expected or their personal entrance exam can be followed along with an interview.

In some cases, direct admission is offered based on academic performance in undergraduate studies or work experience. However, this is more common in private colleges and less likely in reputed government institutions or colleges with stringent admission criteria.

Verify the college's accreditation (AICTE or UGC approval) and placement records before proceeding. A degree from a non-recognized college may limit career opportunities. Always confirm admission requirements from the college's official website or admissions office.

Hello Greetings

As a resident of Chhattisgarh, you can appear for the MHT CET exam at centers located in your state. The exam centers for MHT CET 2025 will be allocated based on the number of candidates and availability of seats .

To get an engineering seat in Maharashtra, you'll need to follow these steps:

- *Register for MHT CET 2025*: Fill out the application form, which is usually available on the official website ((link unavailable)) .

- *Choose your exam center*: While filling out the application form, select Chhattisgarh as your exam center location. You'll be allocated a specific center in your state.

- *Prepare for the exam*: Focus on your studies and prepare well for the MHT CET exam. The exam pattern and syllabus are available on the official website.

- *Counseling and seat allocation*: After the exam results are declared, participate in the counseling process. You'll need to fill out your preferred college and course options. Seats will be allocated based on your merit, preferences, and availability.

Some popular engineering colleges in Maharashtra that accept MHT CET scores include:

- *College of Engineering, Pune* (COEP)

- *Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology* (VNIT)

- *Indian Institute of Technology Bombay* (IITB) (for some courses)

Keep in mind that admission to these colleges is highly competitive, and meeting the eligibility criteria doesn't guarantee admission.

Stay updated with the latest information on MHT CET 2025 by visiting the official website or reputable education websites .

Have a great day

Hello,

If you have filled the MHT CET form and mentioned OBC but haven't applied for the required certificate and are in the creamy layer, then your form won't be rejected, but you will be considered under the general (open) category unless you provide valid OBC-NCL (Non-Creamy Layer) documentation.

Here's what happens:

  • The process of verification verifies the existence of the OBC-NCL certificate. Failure to produce it invalidates the claim for benefits related to the OBC category, such as reservations and fee concessions.
  • General Category : You will be shifted to the general category, and your form will remain valid for admissions under the open category.

To avoid complications, clarify your category status during the verification process. If your intention was to apply as a general candidate, no action is needed. Ensure honesty and accuracy in future forms.

Hello Anushka,

With 97 percentile in MHT CET , your chances of getting admission to COEP (College of Engineering, Pune) for the B.Plan (Bachelor of Planning) course are quite good. COEP is highly competitive, especially for top courses, but B.Plan typically has slightly lower cutoffs compared to B.Tech programs.

Key Points:

  1. General Cutoff Range: For B.Plan at COEP, the cutoff percentile for general category students usually falls around 95-98 percentile , depending on the year's competition.

  2. Category Impact: If you belong to a reserved category (OBC, SC, ST, etc.), your chances increase significantly due to lower cutoffs.

  3. Seat Allocation: Ensure you participate in the CAP rounds for admission and select COEP as your top preference.

Keep an eye on the official DTE Maharashtra counseling updates for exact cutoff trends. Your score gives you a strong position!

    • You can register for MHT CET again after completing your 12th board exam.

    • Your new MHT CET score will be considered for admission.

  3. Admission Process :

    • Colleges will consider only the MHT CET scores from the specific year of admission.

      Conclusion:

You will need to appear for the MHT CET again if you are applying for admissions in a different year than when you initially took the exam.

Hello,

Based on previous year trends for LLM CET (Common Entrance Test) scores, with 28 marks, here are a few possibilities for colleges you may consider:

  1. Government Law College (GLC), Mumbai : Known for having a competitive cut-off. Your score may be on the borderline, so check specific details.
  2. Symbiosis Law School, Pune : Typically has higher cut-offs but occasionally admits candidates with lower scores.
  3. University of Mumbai : May offer chances depending on category and rank, though cut-offs are generally higher.
  4. Pune University : This could be a viable option as the cut-off scores vary.
  5. Nagpur University : Likely a possibility if your score falls within their previous year's range.

It's crucial to check individual university and category-wise cut-offs for the most accurate information.

You can also use Law college predictor tools to predict which college you can get based on your score.
