Hey Geeta:)

Thanks for reaching out!

With your mentioned score, your chances of getting into a government college largely depends on the state, branch, and category, you belong to. For highly competitive branches like CSE or ECE 70 percentile may be low,but for less competitive branches like civil or mechanical, you might get a seat especially in later rounds.Reserved category students often have better chances at government colleges with this percentile.

Check last year cutoffs or use predictors to see where you stand and explore better options

With 55 percentile in the Maharashtra CET as an MS (Minority/Management/Other State) student, getting admission in top government colleges in Mumbai is unlikely, since most require 90+ percentile for general seats. However, private engineering colleges and some minority or management quota seats may still be available, though choices will be limited. Options include colleges like Thakur College, Rizvi College, or Vidyalankar Institute, but the cutoff and fees vary widely. You should apply broadly and also consider nearby cities for more options.

Hello

With a 16 percentile in MHT-CET, getting into AI & DS in a good Pune college is very difficult.
Most top and mid-tier colleges have cutoffs above 85–95 percentile for this branch.
Even lesser-known colleges usually close much earlier than your score.
Your best chances may be through the management quota or diploma-to-degree (lateral entry) later.

You can effectively prepare for both your 12th board exams and the MHT-CET as their syllabus overlap so try to consider NCERT books with Maharashtra State Board textbooks as MHT-CET questions are often NCERT-based.

Also, try to solve Mht cet previous 5 years paper this will give you idea about how the question are asked.

With this strategy easily you can score 90%+.

Best of luck for your exam..

Hello,

Since you got admission through JEE Main rank (All India quota) , your admission is considered under the open/general category , not the state reservation (NT-C) category.

So, you need to pay the Open/General category fees , not the NT-C fees.

Hope it helps !

The SVNIRTAR CET 1st Round Seat Allotment is available online, and you can access the results through the official website: admission.svnirtar.nic.in.

hope it helps..

With a rank of 169 in IPU CET for B.Sc. Nursing, your chances are very strong. Usually, ranks below 200 are considered excellent, and you can expect admission in top IP University-affiliated colleges. The concern about NEET qualifiers is valid, but IPU reserves a separate set of seats for CET candidates as well.

Best of luck!
