The chord subtends a right angle ( θ=90)at the center

Use pie  = 3.14

The area of the minor segment is calculated  by:

``Area of minor segment = Area of sector −Area of triangle

Step 1: Area of the Sector

Step 2: Area of the Triangle

Step 3: Area of the Minor Segment

Final Answer:

The region of the minor segment is 28.5 cm².
