Dear student,

As the competition are increasing day by day and the question level is also getting upgraded, then you have to be practice with some upgraded books.

Now, if you are preparing from the books that you have mentioned in your query then only your maths and inorganic chemistry will go good and you will not be able to score above 90 percentile.

No doubt you can get good concepts and basics from HC VERMA or ncert, but still you have to practice wide variety of mcqs and numerical answer your questions.
So, for physics if you are studying hc verma and ncert, then for jee mains according to me, it will not be upto the mark.

For physics you must practice and read theories fron cengage books. Solve each and every concept application exercise and example alongwith mcqs to get well equipped for jee Mains physics.

Now for chemistry, you must read inorganic chemistry from ncert. Because each and every line is important for it. But never touch OP TANDON and P BAHADUR books.
For getting expertise prepration of jee mains chemistry, solve questions from NARENDRA AWASTHI (for physical chemistry) and MS CHOUHAN (for organic chemistry). Practice all level 1 questions from these two books for getting well equipped in jee Mains chemistry.

For maths you have chosed well. Use cengage books for practice and theories. You will score a good rank and percentile and pass with flying colours in jee mains.

sabbineni0717 Dear student,

If you aim for 99 percentile or more, then apart from these above mentioned books you must have to practice previous 15 years papers atleast 5 times.
And make all the single choice correct questions of jee advanced before 2014 (and including 2017).

Also the above mentioned books (by me) are very helpful for you in cracking jee advanced, but for jee advanced inorganic chemistry, you have to solve PROBLEMS IN INORGANIC CHEMISTRY by VK jaiswal.
