Hello Vardhan,

If you choose right books for JEE MAINS and ADVANCED preparation, then it will definitely help you to provide the correct direction to crack the examination.

Here are the names of the few books which you can follow to score good in the Examination :

For Physics :

  • Concepts of Physics (Part I)-HC Verma
  • Concepts of Physics (Part II)-HC Verma
  • IIT JEE Physics-DC Pandey
  • Problems in General Physics-I.E. Irodov
  • Physics for IIT-JEE-Resnick, Halliday, Walker

For Chemistry :

  • Organic Chemistry-Morrison Boyd
  • Organic Chemistry-O.P Tandon
  • Modern Approach to Chemical Calculations-R.C. Mukherjee
  • Numerical Chemistry-P. Bahadur
  • Concise Inorganic Chemistry-J.D. Lee

For Maths :

  • IIT Mathematics-M.L. Khanna
  • Differential Calculus-A Das Gupta
  • Class XI & XII Mathematics-R.D. Sharma

Now you might ask that how can a student go through all these books at once. So the answer is simple, you can go for a online coaching option as it's cheap than what your local coaching institutes offer. Also they are far better than them. One such example is Etoos India company which provide Kota institutes lectures at 13000 Rs per subject and they are worth buying.

In addition to complete your preparation, you must solve the past year JEE papers. There are many sites which do offer mock paper tests free. You can solve them to enhance your skills.

You can also buy the revision packages in the final preparation which might help you. I am listing the name of such a book below :

  •  Rank Booster 2015 : It is the most relevant JEE revision package available for the preparation point of view.

Least but not last, don't forget to follow NCERT textbooks. They cover almost all the THEORY Part.

Hope this helps!!

All the best :)
