Hello Shelja,

Generally speaking Computer science engineering is most progressive and preffered engineering branch among people whether it be girls or boys. There is huge scope in CSE engineering, the expanding software industry guarentees you some job although not very good, but still a job. Most of the work is on laptop, therefore no hard labour. Just few languages and some algorithms will make you industry ready. Therefore CSE/IT engineering is most preferred branch. On second is the Eletrical and Electronics engineering, because of the growing electronic sector, these engineers serve as a bridge between Electrical engineers and Computer science engineers.

Therefore you may consider these branches, just like all others are doing. Or you may go for BCA, which is a 3 year course, and similar to CSE B.Tech(however some topics are not taught).

Hope this Helps
