Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur

It is one of the first engineering colleges that was established after Indias independence in 1959. It has been formed to provide excellent opportunities to the students who wants to pursue advanced engineering and research studies with the best infrastructure and facilities. It offers B.Tech as well as dual degree courses. It is considered as one of thetop B.Tech engineering colleges in Uttar Pradesh. It is a government-funded institute which is funded by the government of India.

Candidates who want to take admission in IIT, Kanpur have to secure cutoff in JEE Advanced examination. They also have to secure a minimum of 75% marks at 10+2 level in their respective boards.

The institute offers advanced B.Tech programmes in Electrical, CS, Aerospace, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Material Science, Biological Sciences and Bio-Engineering. It charges a total fees of Rs. 8.2 lakh for a full time four-year B.Tech programme.

IIT Kanpur provides one of the best average packages in India. It amounts to about INR 15.8 LPA and the institute has a record of 100% placements. The highest package in 2018 was INR 1.5 crore per annum.
