These are the eligibility conditions for obtaining EWS certificate:

• You should be a general candidate
• Family income should be less than 8 lakhs
• Family's agricultural land area should be less than 5 acres
• Family's residential flat area should be less than 1000 sq. ft.
• Family's residential plot area should be less than 100 sq. yards (Notified municipalities)
• Family's residential plot area should be less than 200 sq. yards (Other than Notified Municipalities)

Documents required

• Aadhar Card (mandatory)
• Pan Card (mandatory)
• Income Certificate (mandatory)
• Caste Certificate
• BPL Card
• Bank Statement
• Recent passport size photo

How to apply?



There are no online methods. You will have to either:

• Contact your local government authority (Tehsil) or
• Contact an agent in Jan Sewa Kendra (CSC) nearby your location.

Contacting Tehsil may take more time to get the work done, you can go with the agent option if you want the EWS certificate urgently. You can search for your nearest CSC on google and submit the required documents. They will fill out the EWS certification form for you and then you will have to wait for around a month.
