By mistake I have submitted a OBC NCL certificate based on wrong financial year.i.e. it should be based on FY 17-18,18-19,19-20 but mine is based on FY 16-17,17-18,18-19 for my UPSC application. Will I be able to convey the same to the concerned authority and request them to put me as GEN/UR?

Hello,

You haven't mentioned regarding which examination your query is about. UPSC conducts various entrance examinations like Indian Engineering Services, Civil Services Examination, National Defence Academy, Combination Defence Examination etc. Nevertheless, there will not be any correction facility for any of the entrance examination for UPSC unless specified. Request to change any details in the application by any means is restricted so you cannot request them to consider your candidature as general category candidate. The applicants need to be careful while filling the application form. If the application is not in the right order chances are there that your application might get rejected. Please disclose the exam you have applied so that we can provide relevant information.
